Hi, I'm Matt; a photographer, digital artist and motorcyclist.

Classic Rides was born out of mixing a love of photography and riding motorcycles. I started creating short videos to document some of the more well known motorcycling routes in the UK. Initially just to record the rides for myself so that one day, when I'm too old to ride, I would have those videos to remember my adventuring days.

It was important to me to create the videos in a way that really captured the more elegant side of motorcycling; so it could be a short immersion where I could imagine myself being back on the bike, riding that very road. Turns out some other people enjoyed watching the videos too, so I decided to make more and put them on YouTube.

You can find a lot more information on the channel, my bikes and myself here on this website. There's also a Classic Rides shop which sells a few motorcycling related items. Buying something is a really great way to support the channel as all the proceeds from any sales go directly back into the time and equipment needed to make the videos.
