Little Lynton Acres Campsite

If you're headed over to the continent on a motorcycle camping adventure, depending on how far you've ridden to reach Folkstone, you may decide that staying overnight near the coast is a worthwhile stop.

Little Lynton Acres is an affordable, simple campsite that provides the option of staying within spitting distance of the docks and euro tunnel entrance, ensuring you can catch the early train or ferry to France.

When I stayed for my Normandy adventure, I found the site quiet and well provisioned. There's a lovely pub nearby, The Tiger Inn, that sells great food and drink and at the end of a long day's ride, it was just what was needed to ready myself for the next day.

While the campsite is perhaps a little more on the 'rustic' side of things, it's got everything you need for a simple overnight stay before you travel on towards stranger lands.

Biker's Note: There's a little bit of loose gravel at the campsite entrance, so take extra care when stopping at the gate to open and close it.

Little Lynton Acres is a flat, open field that you can camp in. It's a simple as that.

(Since I used this campsite only as simple overnight stay before catching an early train to France, there's no accompanying video to this post)
