Noble Wood Campsite

Situatated at the very south end of the Lake District, Noble Wood might be one of my favourite campsites in the UK.

Spread throughout a tranquil wood, the campsite comprises a series of individual pitches separated by trees, paths and ponds, so you're never too close to your neighbours. Under 16's are also not allowed on the site which helps keep unwanted noise to a minimum.

Wood, kindling and fire pits are available; and with toilet/shower blocks dotted around the site you've got everything you need for a relaxing night under the trees.

Biker's Note: The road leading to the campsite starts off as a tarmac road, but eventually turns into a well used dirt track. While it's easily navigable by road bikes, if there's been heavy rain just prior to your visit, you may want to check out the road condition before riding onto it.
