Hi, my name is Matt. I’m a photographer, digital artist and motorcyclist.

Classic Rides was born out of mixing my love of photography and motorcycles. I started creating short videos to document some of the more famous motorcycling roads in the UK. Initially just to document the rides for myself so that one day, when I'm too old to ride, I would have those videos to remember my adventuring days.

It was important to me to create the videos in a way that really captured the more elegant side of motorcycling; so it could be a short immersion where I could imagine myself being back on the bike, riding the road. Turns out some other people enjoyed watching the videos too, so I decided to make more and a YouTube channel was born.

You can find lots more information on the channel, my bike and myself here on this website. There's also a Classic Rides Store which sells a few motorcycle related items; buying something is a really great way to support the channel as all the proceeds from any sales go directly back into the time and equipment needed to make the videos.
